Another back hatch window thread

I have searched a ton and I can't find the solution. My back wiper, window, and washer will not work. I tried to do the key in the back and that didn't work, I tried to use 5th window controll trick and that didn't work , i tried to move the wiper up and all around and that didnt work, so I'm hoping it's a fuse.

Where is the fuse location for all the back hatch window components.

Make sure the window is ALL the way up!

I had this issue a couple weeks back and it frustrated the hell out of me. I happened to check the up/down mechanism, raising the window and it moved ever so slightly.

Once that happened, the washer/wiper started functioning again.

I can't get the window to move at all, I tried with the key and the button. I hoping it's a fuse I just don't know where to find the fuse.

Under the hood, there is a main fuse and relay box...remove the lid and check for the fuse location there.
Also, to the left side of the steering column under the dash, there is a small fuse box, remove it's cover and see if your fuse is there if not at the other location....

I don't have my manual handy ATM....

Thank you I appreciate that, I checked both locations last night but I couldn't really tell what one would be for the back window, I'll have to look closer. Thanks

um did you unlock the windows ?

you do realize the window lock also affects the rear window :)

the only window the window lock doesn't affect is the drivers window.

I know that doesn't help on the wiper/washer.

Hi Tuskilla,

I just deleted my last post because that wasn't the fuse you are looking for. The fuse that feeds the back door window assm is in the driverside fusebox near the 'E-Brk' labeled Back-door 30A. There are others that control this circuit as it has many function accessories e.g., "Multi-plex network ecu", "doorlock ecu assm", "master switch assm"... there are seven fuses that pertain to the back door, but try the 30A fuse noted above. If you have any trouble, I'll upload the full schematic diagram; just let me know if you need that and I'll post it! Best of success!

Here's the 'full rear tailgate schematic' that I was working from Tuskilla. The fuses are at the top and hardware down below. If you start at the Multi-plex network bottom center, 4th pin from the right, you'll see the power supply line to the harness connector marked BDR (Back Door). I've traced that line (in blue) to that 30A fuse that's marked Back Door 30A. If that's not the one there are six more adjacent to the 30A fuse; you should check those as well, "See below":

Rgds!

Rigtec I appreciate it, that's the exact answer and diagram I was looking for, when I looked at the fuses under the dash I didn't even notice that one.

I will reassess this tomorrow but I'm assuming this has to be the problem .

Thanks again
