Question for those who are mechanics or those who have upgraded coils along with bilstein 5100 struts.
If you upgrade your front coils to let's say, 2" lift coils... which setting on the bilstein strut would be recommended for the best performance & at what height would your front ultimately sit at?
I want to replace my front coils with OME 2883 coils that provide approx "2inches of lift & my 5100's are set to 1.75 right now

885's have a heavier spring rate than the 883's tho, no?

Yes. I'm hauling an extra 110 lbs of bumper and winch up front (allowing for what I lost removing the factory bumper @ ~25-30 lbs), so I went with the 885's. 884's offer the factory rate at 2" of lift. I'm not sure off the top of my head what the 883's do.
This is from the Toytec website. You want 884s.

Any pics of 2.5 up front 1.5 rear on stock tires? Will likely roll stock tires a little longer before getting new ones, but don't want to do this and then have to adjust all the settings in a few months. Also is it possible to adjust front springs while in place? Apply spring compressor then adjust the ring?
Any concern for CV angles or driveline binding at 2.5 in the front?

No. They have to be pulled apart to reset.
Angles are apparently not a concern until you go 3" or more. But there is a concern with accelerated CV boot wear because the ribs will be rubbing to together more.

I am trying to decide if I just want to level out the front with the .85 setting on the Bilsteins or go with the 1.75 setting along with the 1" Cornfed spacers for the rear, like yours. I was wondering, with the 1.75 setting on the 5100s, were there any other modifications you had to do to the front end? Also, what size tires are you running and how does your 4Runner drive and handle with the lift? Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've noticed that some of you have set your Bilsteins at 1.75" and used Cornfed 1" spacers in the rear. I really like that look based on the pictures I have seen, especially Runer4life's vehicle. For those of you who have installed these with that setup, I was wondering if there are any other modifications that need to be done, i.e. replacing upper control arms with adjustable ones and/or installing a differential drop kit, as well. A specific question for [MENTION=132149]Runer4Life[/MENTION] that I have is, what size tires are you running and how is the handling and ride after the lift? Thanks.

Front is .85 and the rear is stock (you can't adjust the rear billstein 5100 shocks like you can the front ones). To lift the rear you'll need spacers, I didn't want to add spacers.
Got new wheels 265/70 and I will post more pictures when I install the wheels.

Your truck looks perfect. I just installed the 5100's on my 2014 TEP with KDSS today. 2.5" up front and rear 1.5" daystar spacer. I wish I would have done this 3 years ago when I bought the truck. Went up to 285/70/17 Duratrac's on KMC Misfits. Will post pics soon.

5100s F&R. Front set to 2.5", rear 1.75" Dobinsons Rear Coils. Maybe a 1/2 inch rake... this is on 275s but I am going to 285s next week.

Adjusting them causes the springs to preload which makes it ride firmer. It also lifts your vehicle causing the shock to extend out limiting the amount of down travel remaining. I ran mine at 0 and read several recommendations not to go over the 1.5 Mark as it would ride terrible.
