I gotta say whoever is responsible for putting together the parts for assembly is doing a shitty job. CBI and Prinsu should be ashamed. I also had to put washers on top of spacers because they sent me an odd number and wrong size spacers. I'll be upgrading to a full rack soon and won't be considering Prinsu due to poor wait times, inconsistent quality control, and poor customer service. My 3/4 will be up for sale soon!!!

For anyone that wants/need the 1x1 bar. I have it and not using. I have a 2011 Limited and can fix the regular sized bar in the back. PM if you want to buy the 1x1

I also ran a washer on both front spacers. fairing wasn't hitting the roof, i just wanted the rack to sit on more surface area cause i drilled the hole a touch off center.op2:

the fairing is in the middle setting, lowest, it hits the roof. CBI did send about 10 extra spacers, i could probably use the taller ones and the fairing would clear at the lowest setting.

Still waiting on a response from Zach on why the wind fairing sits on the roof unless I have 3 washers on top of the spacers. No wonder he sold the business.
CBI isnt much help either.

I am not sure but from what I understand there are different size spacers that need to be be at the front, middle and back to make the racks sit correctly on the roof. I not saying this is the case but something you might look into. Hopefully I won't run into the same problem when I install mine. It's assembled and I am just waiting to have enough time to put it on.

Zach got back to me this morning and is at a loss at why the fairing is sitting like it is. He actually sending out a 5th gen visor out. They are slightly shorter.

CBI scratch and dent parts has a 4th/5th gen wind fairings listed as the same part number so not sure what kind of run around you're getting there unless you got the wrong fairing to begin with. Based on my questions with CBI on why the lead time continues to get pushed back, why they can't communicate that to their customers, and if they have any confidence in if this thing will even fit correctly I'm on the verge of cancelling. Problem is I don't see any other low profile racks on the market even at a higher price, anyone want to start a new company to better serve us?

At this point I have really given up. If the fairing ends up showing up and fitting with out the extra 5 washers per side I'll be amazed. Its a really awesome design and would only take a little effort to get the orders delivered properly and on time.

Today was my estimated ship date. Looks like they're gonna miss the mark unless something happens in the next few hours.

I got tracking info! In total it'll be 13 weeks order to door. Here's to hoping all the right parts arrive with it. I'll keep you guys posted on air deflector fitment later next week.

I remember when I got my tracking number... nothing was updating on the UPS site for weeks. Zach had to call UPS.
I hope the best for ya. Its a sweet rack.
I brought it by my friends shop, he builds 3rd and 5th gen racks and he was pretty impressed with all " the math" involved.

The rack towers or what ever they are called are on 2 different planes and angles. The rack sits level and fits the body well. I would imagine that was the math he was talking about.

gotcha, follows the curvature of the roofline nicely. the front mounts have the bend, the curve of the roof, and a little bit of an angle in them too.:iagree:

Really like the look of this rack but considering the 3/4 sine we have the moonroof and I’m not drilling our new T4R. Any issues with attaching a RTT to the 3/4? Anyone have pics of a RTT attached to their 3/4?

I think theirs is actually the 7/8 rack. Gives about 7-8 more inches. I think you could run a smaller 2-3 person RTT with the 3/4 rack though.

Looking through the IG feed I’d agree, looks like a 7/8 and thanks for the feedback. We’re not big folk so a 2-3 person tent would work. Still haven’t decided on a RTT for sure, but will be getting a rack and want to make sure I don’t end up having to change the rack if my wife buys into overlanding.

ah. i was looking at that 4runner this morning at SDHQ garage sale, its dope. I think the full length actually looks more low profile tho
