Another Shrockworks how long thread

Ordered SW sliders about a week and a half ago, they were quoting 8 weeks and I was told the oldest slider order they had was 9 1/2 weeks old. I ordered the bare steel ones, so maybe the powder coating causes the delay? We'll see what happens.
 
It wasn't 90 days. They told me 6-8 weeks originally, then 8 weeks. They arrived 13 weeks to the day sooooo....13 weeks X 7 days/week = 91 days

Realistically this isn't bad. TWO complaints in 3 years. One was resolved in July of this year with BBB assistance regarding "Problems with Product/Service" which could have been any product, but, it was resolved.

The other complaint was in Nov. 2009 regarding delivery, nearly two years ago.

How many products do you think they have shipped in the past two years?

Hmmm at their rate....3.....ha just kidding, I do agree with what you said. I was surprised how little it takes to get an F. Then again, does anyone even look at the BBB anymore?
 
sounds like you guys need to be looking into companies with good rep like demello, cbi, and relentless (has a bit of a wait cause he's a one man shop, but nothing but good things are said from his customers).
 
I think the best they can do is guarantee delivery date.... or the customer receives a certain percentage off their order. This way Shrockworks has a monetary incentive to get their products out the door in a timely manner.

They guaranteed 3 months for the 5th gen bumpers or another 10% off your order. I can't wait to get mine... but if its not shipped by Oct. 20... I just saved another almost $200 on my sliders and bumper.

My front bumpers suppose to ship by the 25th, synthetic winch and lightforce hids are getting lonely in the garage lol.
 
Got a used Shrockworks bumper today off of Craigslist for $350! And it was only 40 miles from my house! :)

Adding to the thread...

I ordered my Rock Sliders 7/31 and they arrived 11/07 - So they took about 100 days. I knew going into it that it would probably take 3 months.

The quality of the sliders is nice!!!! It took me about an hour and a half to get them installed by myself. Plenty of hardware included to complete the installation. I've never had sliders before, but I am impressed with the quality of these!

I will probably be ordering the front bumper in the future.
 
Just received notification from UPS that I'll have the Sliders today.

So the math is 3 weeks until I notified them that they had an order that they didn't + 8 weeks promise - 2 weeks actual.

I'm good with it.

my 5th gen bumper arrived within the window they offered. It is beautiful, now to install it :)
Cant wait for the rear!!

UPS just delivered my SW Sliders...exactly ten weeks from the day I ordered them. Better delivery time than most seems to get, even with the Thanksgiving Holiday last week. However, they are the bare metal ones, so maybe the powdercoating makes the difference.

Not really relevant since CBI doesn't have any offerings for the 5th gen 4runner, but I think you already know that. Enjoy the new armor and post up some pics when you get it installed.

I bet they'd make some up if someone wanted they do tons of custom work. Besides all you need is one truck to get the first one fitted.

I've already got it on, just waiting on my relentless front to come in and I'll share
