My 10' Trail Edition has a 3/2 lift on it. I am going back to stock wheels from a 17 x 9 Pro Comp wheel (which I had no issues with rubbing). When I was running stock wheels on my 285/70 BFG KO, I had the shop test fit a set of spacers. The tires made contact with the body mounts. WITHOUT having to chop those, do I have any other options for pushing the tires/wheels out further? I would like to have the tires sit flush if not out just a bit, but cutting the truck does not appeal to me. How/Why do I read that some guys are running spacers without problems? I would appreciate insight from some of you more knowledgeable guys. Would new UCA's make a difference?
Thanks in advance...
