So right now I have 17x9 wheels with what I believe is a +12mm offset. Based on my calculation this gives me a 5.5 backspacing. I'm looking into getting an Icon lift and they recommend a 5.0 backspacing. Do you all think this difference is negligible? (0.5 inches). When I get the lift I may bump up to 285/70/17s or keep the current 265/70/17s until they wear down.
Anything I should be worried about? I really don't want to get spacers because I've heard they can lead to other issues.
