Anti-lock makes noise when it shouldn't?

Yes just what I am describing. Since it snowed, I've been driving my SR5 and I notice that when the truck slides or a rear tire breaks loose it makes the same noise as it the anti-lock brakes are being activated. Is that normal? I know it supposed to do it when you brake but not when the trucks tires break loose while driving.
I have tried the anti-lock brakes and those sem to work when thier supposed to and make the right noise.
I know my 3rd gen only makes the noise when I hitting the brakes, but not when the truck breaks loose. Figuring it's new technology.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Yep. Traction control is "preventing" wheel slippage via the AL braking system.

Thanks very much guys. Wanted to make sure something wasn't wrong. Good to know. Feel safer already. :)
