It basically looks like this though (from a dealer photo)

A Tundra wasn't "good enough" for ya huh? :p

At any rate,, your knowledge has been instrumental in many a mod.

.

12mpg, no. Been there with my Titan. It gets old reeeeaaaalll quick.

This gets better mileage than the 4Runner already!

I miss my Dodge Ram with the Cummins diesel but I traded it for the 4runner because the Dodge was too big and long to get into a lot of the trails I was trying to get into out gold prospecting. Its a trade off

Damn, sad to see the Antmobile go, definitely one of my favorite builds on this forum. Congrats on the new truck, hopefully you'll stick around and still help out the n00bs from time to time

Hey Antman , how’s the new truck? Not sure why, but I’ve become hot and bothered over the LTZ and/or High Country lately. No need for a pickup, but damn they’re nice.

It's probably in the shop, it is a Chevy after all.

That's funny!

Well, that's what I have, a Summit White LTZ Crewcab with the Z71 Offroad package...

No, it hasn't been in the shop, but there have been some software glitches that have been corrected via software updates (they download them directly to the truck while it's parked at home!). It's been great so far though. Best mileage to date has been 25.5 and I'm consistently averaging over 20/tank. I am really enjoying the power and comfort so far.

The Chevy Forum is so different. The sticky at the very top is "Trouble/Issues with your T1" (that's this model's designation) and it is always a hot thread, lol. Lot's of early build issues with cracked leaking rear windows, oil cooler line failures, and software glitches. I have been lucky so far- I know what I bought and I'm sure one day I'll be kicking myself for selling the trusty old 4Runner- but hopefully not too soon.

I've added an Autostop Eliminator, a CB (of course) and a really nice retractable Tonneau cover- along with a lot of other stuff involving drilling plenty of holes in it, LOL.
I created a Build Thread over there and they promptly moved it to the corner in the basement behind a stack of boxes. Nobody cares, lol. Username is Limelight (Antman presumably taken). Rush forever baby!

Here's some pics of some of the Chebbymods so far… Lots of plans! :usa2:

That flat spot below the radio in the center console looks like a great place for the yet to be invented wireless phone charger mod!
