Any Alignment Guru's? Need quick advice

Ok rig is a 2016 Trail Premium

.85 Bilstein in the front end (shortly after lift - had alignment done)

265/70/17 (Stock size) General AT2 Grabbers on TRD Wheels

I think my caster is off a tad, its "within" spec by toyota but they are going to have another look at it Wednesday

Anyway the issue is drivers side front tire...in reverse and the wheel turned to the right it rubs on the bottom of the bumper cover fascia(whatever you want to call it)

Anyone else have this issue....Its almost impossible to avoid, its not a minimal rub it catches the plastic pretty good

So... Caster? or whats your advice - thanks

Box cutters and a heat gun? Not sure why so many people get that rubbing on 14+ trucks, must just be tighter tolerances versus 10-13 trucks. If it's the front fascia/bumper wouldn't it be less caster and that would hurt drive ability?
 
It's common to have to trim back that plastic a bit once lifted. I know .85 isn't much, so might be something else. (alignment issues abound with a lift). but usually with a lift comes some trimming regardless, or pulling those wheel well pieces back.

I used a sharp knife on mine and just peeled it down a bit. but also had to pull the inner wheel well in as I was on the max setting of 5100s up front.

I can trim but I did not change tire size... seems like it should fit...wheel can be adjusted aft a tad I suspect.

Id like to make sure its not an alignment issue before I cut on her..

Yeah I get it, keep in mind the Pro's have a 1 inch lift up front and require a slight trim on the bumper cover. They probably use some fancy saw to do it then touch up at port. Can't hurt to check alignment, but less caster to bring the wheel back will make it drive worse, careful with what you ask for.

Its not really hitting the liner, its catching the white plastic and making that awesome baseball card hitting your bikes wheel spokes sound :)

Let me see if I can get a shot of the paint thats missing now, clearly shows where she's catching...
 
I remember some of the early posts when the TRD Pros were rolling out from the ports, there were some photos showing where to cut and it was described how to trim the outer front fender edge....
Maybe I can find it, when I have some time...

Seriously Hugo, Get out your anti-nazi knife, mark the spot where it is rubbing with a sharpie, and trim it inward a little bit. Took me all of 10 minutes with a box cutter on both sides. It took me longer to relocate the liner than it did to cut the fender lip.

@OP The LAST thing you want to do is change alignment to less caster. The (by far) most common improvement to drivability is more (positive) caster.

Some folks here are just not very attached to their body panels

I don't think anyone could tell where I trimmed mine with a razor blade and heat gun unless there was a side by shot overlay in photoshop, you don't have to trim much.
 
I used a box knife on my 2016 Limited. Had to do the fender liner repositioning, and cut the bottom edge of the bumper too. Was a new blade and worked pretty well, although now that I see those cutting pliers, I might go buy a pair to do some cleanup, as the box knife isn't too accurate. :)

The first cut is the hardest, but once you make that, there is no going back. The rest are much easier to do. (Be sure to do this when the spouse/partner is away or otherwise occupied! I mentioned CUT and about didn't get my lift and new tires. Still doesn't know I actually cut the plastic. ) :)
 
Also, I read here somewhere that someone recommended Firestone for a lifetime alignment, so I had them so one after my lift 2 weeks ago and they did a pretty good job. And it was on sale, so only $169.99 for alignments anytime I want. They actually recommend every 5000 miles at Firestone.

Still have rubbing on the right front side now, so I need to get out the new heat gun and 'reform' some plastic...

But, happy with Firestone for alignments so far.
