Any reports on replacing upper control arms?

My T4R moves around a little on the freeway. Especially in high winds. Not bad but worse then stock. It is not so bad with the spacers off but I really like the way it looks with them on. I spoke with a highly recommended alignment specialist who is gonna look at it tomorrow but says I will probably need to replace the upper arms or I might cause damage. I am (a little) familiar with adjusting the cast. He said I might not be able to adjust it enough.
I'll fill you in after he looks at it tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone who has done this might have an opinion.
Thanks,
Dave

Sounds like you are at the limits of your caster. Most guys hit the limit on caster at about 2.5- 3 inches of lift. How long have you had the lift on? Do some searching on the subject, there are tons of guys that have this problem. I had it bad on mine and then I got new UCAS and it tightened everything up

Thanks but those were fixed. I reinstalled them and reduced my tire pressure and it was much better. I then had a dynamic balance and the (small) wobble is totally gone. I am actually happy with the G2s even though I originally ordered the Spidermax.
This situation is different. It is not a wobble but it drifts around a little at speed. Not bad but I want it perfect.

I've had the lift for almost two months. I noticed it. But we just had some big winds and I didn't like it. Otherwise it is not bad. Maybe I'm being picky...
Sounds you UCAS is a fix.

Yeah they really did help. Its pretty much always windy up here in my part of Idaho so it made me really nervous to drive on long trips cuz I was just getting blown around.

I would see what your alignment tech can do and says and then go from there.

Went to Dale's Alignment in Huntington Beach. Very pro place and Dale knows his stuff. He said he sees this problem all the time. He put it on the rack and told me (among other things) that the caster has been put to it's max adjustment. I ordered the Camburg upper control arm which will give me room to adjust to 4 degrees. The are backordered and the manufacturer said they are flying off the shelves.

I got a call from wheelers offroad that they are back in stock there.

Camburg UCA - 310040 "Ball-Joint" Upper Control Arm Set with Moog Ball Joints Pre-installed

I am trying to figure out what components to use to lift my stock 4runner. I keep going back and forth on the UCAs. I want my truck to drive ok, but dont really want to add something else that could cause me headaches down the road...

What maintenance or concerns are associated with the camburgs?
