Any way to test if VSC is disabled?

Odd question maybe, but with all the efforts going into the VSC defeat mods, it might be handy if there was a way to determine if it was actually disabled or not. Not having snow or ice handy is an issue for me in particular. Cannot even count on rain.

Could swear I saw a Toyota diagram for testing/triggering it by driving slowly and then turning in a very tight turn. Can't recall where I saw that.

Anybody know of a way to trigger the VSC into rearing it's head? Finding a dirt field and doing donuts might attract the wrong sort of attention.

I believe that is the hill assist coming on.

As it turns out, that activates in all modes I tried. Found a hill steep enough to roll back on to try it out. Sure enough, the Skid symbol comes on and beeping along with brakes. But, it does it in 2Hi, 4Hi with and without VSC defeat, and 4Hi with CDL and VSC disabled. Did not try 4Lo.

Would seem to be more a TRAC function than VSC. So far, getting onto some roadside gravel for a burnout is about it. It certainly spins and raises hell in 2WD and 4WD with VSC cut out.

Still looking for a corner with a bump in it.
