No, sadly I didn't. I don't weld, so I depend on a co-worker to weld for me and he was swamped with things that paid better than welding for me last weekend.
Word of warning for you guys, Pickett/Blackhouse are going to be bottomless pits of water and mud so y'all gonna get stuck haha. Have a guy with a winch up front.

We have decided to cancel the Pickett trip and do a day trip to Catoosa WMA and the Nemo Tunnels instead. We'll be there all day Saturday. If anyone is interested, I'll send you the details.

Yep, It's closed until March something. It is sooooo beautiful there! There's just about anything for every level of stuff. Dirt roads, rock crawling, mud holes, and creek crossings. Of course, I only go there for the scenery and the rocks

There is "Big Fork" down there too. It's pretty sketchy though. I wouldn't go there again alone or without some protection. Just search "Big Fork Road" and you'll find it.

Hey I'm new to 4r's always had jeeps but anyways I'm lovin my 02 4r but I need some help. I just put a 3in lift from R.C but no diff drop yet goin to put one this week. So there is now vibration at 60-70 mph not bad but very noticeable truck was all stock. An also what bout the pan hard bar in rear does it need to be relocated or cut,tapped,an Johnny joint put in to adj?
I know there is prob a place on here for these questions but y'all from my neck of the woods thanx

This area of the forum is mainly for meet-ups and rides and such. We may be local, but I personally don't know anything about 3rd Gen 4Runners.

Thanx dude! Yeah I figuered that but aint nothin like talkin to folks around here!
Just took mine to lbl this weekend around the energy lake area an wow I was impressed!
I just have a 3in lift an some firestone destinations a/t's an went everywhere that I needed to! I can see now there will be lots instore for this rig!
Only qustion I have now is WHY DIDNT I DO THIS SOONER!

A 4Runner can go anywhere a similarly equipped Jeep can, and then tow the Jeep back out when it breaks down.
My rig is similar to yours... stock except for good AT tires and a minor suspension lift. Wish I could answer your questions, but the 3rd gen suspension is different from the 5th.

Man let me tell ya it's beautiful there! I love it if it wasn't such a hassle to post pics from my phone on here I would show ya it's nothing to bad several creek crossings one my hitch that I forgot to remove drug but not to bad!other than that I let my 12yr old drive!
Few hill climbs that we had to lock it in on,if you get on lbl's web sit look around the energy lake area trails will be numbered ya gotta go! Holler at me when you do I will tag along if ya don't mind!
