Anyone in Phoenix interested in renting a room for SuperBowl?

With the astronomical pricing of the game and everything else, I am looking to try and find some lodging for the SuperBowl.

This is my ONE shot to go to the game, and I prefer not to spend $6k+ so looking to the forum for some help. Likely fly in Friday or Saturday, and leave monday morning so 3 nights max.

Willing to pay fair price, OR trade parts! Would need space for me and one friend.

Already bought S-bowl tix and airline tix. Only $520 round trip! Have to fly from two different airports though. No biggie!

Ticket packages run $5k+, and our goal is $3k ea or less.

This is the kind of reply I would expect on Pirate, not on T4R. Besides, $250 and an hour out is still ridiculous.

That said, someone has already come forward and not only offered me a room, they offered it to me for FREE! I will be staying in Maricopa (outside of Phoenix by about 45 mins) but the price is right, and that is all that matters.

Mods, you can close/delete this thread.

I'm not sure what your deal is....I was merely asking for a place to stay and even stated I was willing to pay. I never EVER once asked for a free room. I offered to pay or trade. Some people might be willing to offer a room in exchange for parts, I know that if I needed parts and saw an opportunity like this I sure would jump on it.

Further, I do not TAKE money from forum members. Never have I ever EVER ripped anyone off. I offer fair pricing for quality parts. Same as anyone else does on here.

But what he was really doing is trolling for "fair price" ala cheap or offering used car parts. I saw right through this guys intentions. But since your wondering, we have been season ticket holders of 4 seats from way back when we where packed into ASU college stadium seats, yuk! Talk about close quarters; the Steelers/Dallas SuperBowl, we where packed like sardines. We were lucky enough to get drawn for tickets to this years show. Our NFL seats are spaciously comfy where they bring the beverages and food to us. One of our selfish indulgence. Hee Hee

So what if he spent a couple thousand on tickets but wants to save on a hotel? So what if he happens to sell parts on the site, and who cares if he wants to swap some parts instead of paying for a bed with cash? How on earth does any of that hurt anybody? Sorry Big Blue Pile of ..... I really am, you know when one assumes it make an A$$ out of you and me. But since you asked, I felt compelled to respond.

Yet you, Big Big Pile of ...... invited yourself to the dance in defense of your partner "over nothing"; your words. That is cute and I do apologies for assuming if its not official. However and I'm sure you will agree, if you or your partner want to call out my opinion " ridiculous, childish" I too have the right to response.

BTW....Most guys on here are squeezing and pinching to get their trucks built with limited budgets which this ridiculous childish cheapskate takes benefit. The perceived business advantage and despairing collation as I see it is quite obvious.

Like I said, in bad taste, mentioning fair market price - who does that we're not his personal priceline.com , offering used car parts - that's a joke, boosting already buying $5000 in tickets. He was trolling for free and boosted again that he found it. .....all of it tacky tacky.

However, I hope anyone attending enjoys their trip to the Valley of the Sun, the weather here is absolutely beautiful. It is a bit cooler south of the valley in the remote desert town of Maricopa so bring a light jacket. Morning in the 50's with weekend highs in the high 70's. Leave early, the traffic will be a " ridiculous".

Lastly, all law enforcement as well as the Maricopa County Sheriff will have multiple DWI check point in full force all weekend long. Now they will gladly put you both up in a free room but the ticket is a staggering $10000.00 plus.

But if anyone is drinking and driving I hope they thrown the book at ya.
