i think u can put the morimoto h1 projector inplace of high beam, i think theres a adapter plate, i know this morimoto d2s projector has an adapter plate for h4. but so far im prettty happy with the output of these projectors,a lil more tweaking and its perfect.

Do they make a projection kit for the high beam?

The $300 kit is a bixenon projector. It has an additional wire harness that comes with taps. I haven't yet, but you tap the respective hi-beam pos and neg wires and you can use the hi-beams in conjunction with the projectors hi setting.

Honestly I didn't feel it was worth it. It's more uniform. No hot spots. But I honestly can't tell if it's harder or easier to see at night. If you have an 06 and you want hids, sure why not pay a little more and get a good ****ing kit. If you have a pre06 and you have the stock projectors on, you probably already have an HID kit already, save your money and keep your current kit. Or atleast till a light/ballast goes bad.

for me its worth it. more even spread and it lighted up way better than the hid in halogen projector. atleast it dont look like high beams, so many people still think i have highs on, on stock halogen projectors, thats why i leave the fogs on with it.

Nice to see that they went in nice and smooth! I got the "Retroquick" D2S setup along with the H1 Mini Morimoto to put in the high beam. I'm just waiting on a new set of housings to come in so I can work and modify them without worries. In the end I hope to have a nice set of quad xenon hids going on.

If this works I might go overboard and put an H1 projector in the fogs!

Maybe he is installing these closer to the north pole and we have to wait until the winter months for darkness???

Well, to each his own. The more uniform light is nice, and I mainly got them because I did always worry about blinding people, even stock projectors. But, if I could have done it over again, I wouldn't have made the buy. Though I don't regret the purchase either.

That's cool. I want to see some output pics from you or the other guy before I make my mind up. The factory projectors do seem to work fine.
