Anyone Keep Gobi Racks in Stock???

I reached out to them via email and was quoted $1695 +shipping for a Stealth rack with rise for 40" lightbar, wind deflector, moonroof cutout insert, ladder, cross bars and new hatch struts.

Basically looks to be +$100 over Gobi list, but without the 6 month wait.

Awaiting response requesting shipping quote and lead time.

You did good, I messaged them and they point blank said they will only sell a 'package deal' coming to near enough $2,300 (pretty much everything I don't care for) - I guess they are just capitalizing on the interest now.


Anyone else got any more leads?

My rack arrived safe and sound from Chi-Town 4x4 yesterday, only two days after ordering!

I got the main rack installed last night. I didn’t install the ladder/gas shocks or wind deflector yet. I’m still up in the air on the ladder, but am leaning to installing it.

No, I bought the entire set up - rack, ladder, struts, sunroof insert, crossbars etc.

What is the current wait time for the ladders directly from Gobi? I emailed and called Gobi direct and guess what.... no response.

I did read your post, but I am not tracking on what package deals they are offering now for $2300. I thought you were taking about a full Gobi rack package (like what I got with the rack, ladder, struts, crossbars, and sunroof insert), but it sounds like they were hitting you up for more than just Gobi stuff. I guess I got lucky.

I couldn’t find a no rise. I think your only option is to wait in line unless you get lucky and find a used one.

Wow, that’s unfortunate. I can’t say enough about their customer service with my purchase, but I guess they realize they have a high demand product and intend to capitalize on it.

Honestly most other racks look like trash and don't suit the 4runners line at all which plain sucks imo. You can either deal with it or buy something that you don't like lol that is where I am at. :doh:

Chitown4x4 has Gobi racks in stock, but not the ones with the sunroof cut out, if anyone is interested. I didn't ask the price, but they responded right away when I asked if they had any.

I'm honestly tempted to purchase about 10 of the Gobi Stealth Racks, 5 with no rise, 5 standard. Then sell them for an extra few bucks.

Of course, the obvious issue would be shipping, but living in Dallas, I'm kind of in the middle of everyone...
