Anyone running 315/75r16 BFG KM2's?

Any pics please ?

I bought some 285/75/16 KM2s and they are tiny. I was assuming I'd get a bit of height out of them over my KOs. I had done some research which I found the 315s ran small but didn't see anything mentioning the 285s. Sure enough they do.

I talked with discount tire and they will exchange the tires no problem. I didn't want to run a 35 because I didn't want to crawl down that rabbit hole. However if the 315s are only a small step bigger then I'd be foe sure ordering some.

lets keep in mind that the wrangler mt/r's are one of the few offroad tires out there that run true to there size. The KM2's are a lot cheaper than MT/r's though.

why don't you get a 255/85 km2. it measures above 33 inches.

Frank, is that the "listed" size or actual size? Ill do some more interwebz searching to see if the 255's actually run at a full 33.

I was just hoping someone would have some photos of how big they actually are. I talked to my buddy at discount to see if they can order some and just do a fit check.

Weird you say that. My Mtr's were at least $30 per tire cheaper than the 315 Km2's. I bought from discounttiredirect.com I haven't looked at tires in while but when i purchased them the 315 km2's were right at $315 a tire.

I just searched and the Km2's seem to have come down some. Either way after owning a set i wouldn't run them again

Thanks for posting that Troy. Still look to be quite a bit bigger than the 285s!! Do you know what size they are when measured on the truck ?

315/75/16's, if Im not mistaken the tires had a decent bit of wear when Weston took this picture.

The listed size is 33.3. If you search expeditionportal.com a ton of guys run this tire or the toyo mt in the same size and a ton of comparisons between the two. I believe the toyo mt is taller at 33.5. They've got a few pictures comparing it to a 285 and it's noticeably taller. Search "Prospectator" on this site. He has those tires.

I have the 35x12.50x17 KM2's, setting next to my old MTR's they were within 1/2". They are narrower though.

I also vote for the 255/85/16. Here is a picture of Scotty's first 3rd Gen on that size, it looks good.
