I want a 2012 trail with KDSS, but WITHOUT the upgraded stereo (Entune). I want to have my own stereo installed with upgraded speakers & subwoofer (similar setup to the 2011 JBL but without the crazy price tag!!!).
Questions:
1. If I special order from my dealership, does the dealer receive the full dealer holdback from Toyota? Are there any other + or - for the dealership I should be aware of going in to order?
2. From anyone else who special ordered theirs, were you able to negotiate as effectively as with one that the dealer either has or can transfer in locally? What price did you pay?
3. Stereo specific question: Is all of the wiring in place for the 15 speaker JBL setup or will I need to pull all of the wires?
Of course, now that 2012's are selling, if there is a 2011 with the JBL upgrade and KDSS available for less, what would be a good price to pay for that setup? I believe it has MSRP for $41k+. If I can get the 2011 for a good price, what is the opinion on the JBL setup?
