Anyone tried Rockauto for LC coils?

Scouring classifieds looking for LC coils, I thought I would check out Rockauto... turns out they sell KYB front coils for Landcruisers. The longest one I've found, according to their specs, is 482mm (~18.98")

From the Lift Info and FAQ thread, it looks like that translates to " 19" Double Pink Light Blue White 7.5 wraps". And better yet, they are around $50 each. I'm seeing most used LC coils going for around $80-100/pair.

Has anyone else tried these coils? Worth a shot? I figure I could wait out and find some cheaper used ones, but I'm impatient like that. I'm willing to pay a little more for some now, and they're new.

Wow, I think the average price of used LC coils is generally $60ish? I was in the same boat seriously considering some moog LC coils but the whole # of wraps variance was enough to steer me away. Lucked out on some eventually for $20 + shipping but that was a once in a lifetime score.

As far as quality, I'd say buying new coils of any manufacturer should be about as legit as the tons of people running oldddd LC coils from ebay/salvage yards. It's just the gamble of ending up at somewhere between 4" of rear lift and closer to 7.

The 7.5 wrap is the short coil that the LC used. I didn't do much research on the 7 wrap group of the coils, but if the 7.5 is the taller one than the other is shorter, you wont get the lift the the 8/9 wrap would give, and you'll only get the lift with no weight in the back. I would say a 7.5 wrap coil should not be in the $60-100, more the $50 range at average, since they are not considered the desirable coil for our truck.

Depending on your needs, $100 plus shipping from Rockauto would not be ideal. Possibly leaving you unhappy with the lift and unable to resell them for that price.
