Anyone try JBA A-Arms?

Running JBA with Icon +1" ex travel CO's

Anyone running extended travel coil overs with these on here?

I have had them almost a year. No issues. I will be lifting the front about another inch, but I'm waiting to install the front bumperette with winch and my C4 sliders. Add the weight, then crank up, then align.

I'm very happy with mine, alignment at current height came in great.

Thicker steel and gussets I believe --- Yep, see below from their site

HD A-arms are thicker tubing 3/16" wall and 1-5/16" dia with 11ga guests on the bushing bongs

3/16" wall is .188, that is quite thick. Really thick actually.

just got finished installing my JBA UCAs. They came in red so I painted them flat black.

Install was super easy. I do have a question regarding filling the ball joint with grease. I used Mobil 1 synthetic grease and did not know how much to pump in. I did notice it started to come out of the back, where the ball joint boot appears to be tapered. Is this right?

Update: I'm having trouble with mine pulling slightly right. Iv had it aligned 2 times and 2 different places. I will pick it up today to see my spec sheet. He just called saying he got 4 degrees caster but still has a slight pull

That's interesting because mine is pulling to the right after two alignments. Also, all my places suck cause the best I got for caster was a high 2.

I've got almost 12k miles since install. Still no pulling, abnormal wear or noises. Very happy with them.

If its pulling the alignment was not done right. Take it to a different shop if original cant get it right.

After installing Bilsteins last winter the Dealer that did my alignment actually had my left and right side caster backwards. When I took it back the service manager spotted the problem right away after looking at the printout. Long story short is a different tech aligned it and it was great. He put more caster on the right to compensate for road crown pull.

Got mine on order. Will update after install. Also, they are offering them bare metal and not assembled if you want to powdercoat them something other than red. I'm going with 5100s and wheelers T1 and T12 springs. I can't find much info on the springs but I figured I'd give them a shot. If anyone has experience I'd love to hear it. Thanks.

So it had exactly 4* caster on both sides which I was surprised he got and still pulled like he said. Took it back the following day and told him make it drive straight . Caster is now 3.1 on left and 3.6 on the right and seems to be driving straight. Also my camber is 0.0 and 0.1 which I'm happy with

I think this is the way to do it. All of the trucks are slightly different and have small manufacturing variance. I leaned this making bumpers for 3rd gen 4Runners for many years. No 2 are exactly the same.

Make it drive straight. That is the ticket.

I don't have JBA arms, but I just had mine aligned and the tech set it with 1/2* less on the left vs. the right. I had a good discussion with him and he explained that it will compensate for the road crown and allow it to roll straight. Sure enough, it rolls straight now. However, he set it at 2.7L and 3.2R. I had asked him to set it at 4.0, so it's going back next week.

Marlin (JBA) just swapped out my red set for a set in the "raw" - they're currently with the powder coater getting finished. I opted to not have the pressed in bushings that they normally come with and got a set of the Total Chaos bushings instead. Can't wait till they're done, then I can install my lift

Just ordered my JBA a-arms. Will pair them with my OME/5100 set up right now to see how they work. Then FOX 2.5/2.0 when I order those.
