The official name is "Anytime Backup Camera"

What it is is a plug-and-play harness (with NO MOD to any wiring) that allows on-demand triggering/enabling of the Backup/Rear Camera, instead of the factory default of needing the vehicle to be in reverse for the backup camera to come up. It also does not change any factory functionality, so when you put your car in reverse, the backup camera will automatically comes up. Everything still works the way it was, you just added the ability to enable the backup/rear camera anytime.

This is how the product looks, plug-&-play behind your factory head-unit/display, and then you just add a switch(SPST) to "connect" the 2 wires to turn on the backup camera.

I have this (new upgraded harness like this) and it's absolutely fantastic mod. The install is easy and the harness is top notch.

This group buy will not include the multi camera setup. I had a chance to talk with Brian (bjohnston115) and he puts these together in his free time. He is currently out of the parts for the multi camera setup and will likely restock within the next month or so. He will be running another group buy once that happens.

Directly from Brian:
"When i do the dual camera group buy i will deduct whatever price you paid for this kit from the cost of the other one so that you get the same deal. I will keep everyone posted with details when i have more information."

Sorry I have not gotten back to you... This will work on the 2007 4runner with factory rear camera but you will need to supply it with 12v. In later models the 12v feed is built into the factory harness but it is not in your year.

the harness will connect right into the factory head unit, then the factory harness into the override harness. Then you will need to run 12v to a switch then from the switch to the wire on the override harness.
