I would like to see how you have it set up. My ultimate plan is to have 3 drawer set up. 1 small on the right side with the fridge on top and 2 drawer on the left side one top of the other. I can still put a container on top of that. left side would have another small storage that opens on top with an electrical accessories on the front. Something like this. Let the jokes begin!!

Nice. I may have to see how much higher I can go with the fridge before it starts to block my view out the rear window. The rear dust lights already prevent me from opening the lid all the way now. If I can go higher I may put a drawer under the fridge as well. If not, it's going to be similar to the driver side, but I'll have 3 drawers instead of 2 and a bin. Trying not to block my rear window. I realize that's a little harder for you with a family of 4 and limited storage. I also have my front passenger seat where I usually pile the back packs full of clothing and camera gear.

You have more room than I do. It would be great if I have 1 of the back seat folded down for storage room. Got to make do.

The map I posted has camping areas I attached just for this reason. For those who want to stay longer and in various areas depending peoples wants and needs for options.

No doubt it's blowing like a SOB ...all damn day out here. And it's colder than a witches tit. 0* deg sleeping bag would be needed with the wind chill factor out here right now.
Or that Colman heater blanket I guess...

Right. I'm with ya. The map was helpful for getting a better idea of where we will be going. In terms of camping, I was overly optimistic about camping at the same location for 2 nights. I'm still trying to streamline the camping gear so it isn't such a PITA to camp a single night in a location. It looks like it would be far enough away from Fish Creek on Day 2 that camping in the Truckhaven area makes more sense.
The streamlining needs to happen soon so we can pull off scheduled trips to Southern Utah and Colorado in 2017. 1. I need an instant tent. 2. I need drawers. 3. I need my boys to grow faster so I can put them to work.

Organization is key to any camping experience. I need to post up my storage box I was talking about, just one step closer to heading out the door at a moments notice. Where are you coming from? There's plenty of places to camp in the state park
Also it helps a lot to be a minimalist when camping only 1 day then hitting the trail again

Has anyone been up Sandstone canyon recently, last time I went it was blocked with a collapse from the canyon sidewalls about a year ago. I've heard it collapsed again and now you can't go very far at all into the canyon and there's no room to turn around. [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] you have any intel on this?

The box took a few hours and 30 something bucks to make.
It's not stocked right now but when it is it makes everything much easier. Of course the goal is a proper storage cabinet but in the meantime this has filled the gap quite well
And on the inside I used zip ties to hold together the dividers and the drawers.
The drawer on the far left can hold all my silverware, spices, and commonly used camp items( bug spray, lighter, twine, soap etc). Stuffed between that drawer and the side of the box is a small cutting board and some bags. The middle drawer is small with a decent space behind it. Between the little cubbys on the left and middle I can fit a few days of non refidgerated items. On the right is a small plastic bucket thing I use to wash dishes in. Inside of it are my plates, bowls, cups, foil, paper towels, and a sponge or two.

And here's my supply box pretty simple like a million others out there.
Inside is a tarp, tool kit with a cheap tow rope (plan to upgrade soon), waterproof arctic boots, air compressor, rope, pump for air mattress, a foldable shovel, a small hatchet, some nitrile glove, and a ratchet strap. I have a lot of upgrading to do but once again when I build a nice cabinet I will and this has been a better than nothing approach.
