sub-forum? GG decided on its own without consensus, to change t4r.org to street&terrainT4R.org, because he thinks it is cool.
there has to be a vote before anyone, including the owner of this site, make any changes. GG bypasses his own Moderators on this change.
He said its final though.

This reminds me of World of Warcraft. I spent many happy hours with anonymous other characters killing imaginary monsters, etc. We joined/formed guilds and did stuff together. Then, inevitably, every single one ended just like GG and Thai are ending T4R.org. The people in charge argue, call names, cry like bitches, and the guild/forum splits up. One camp goes one way and one camp goes the other.
Naturally, I cried a lot when my imaginary play friends broke up. Then I got over it when I joined this forum and found "real friends." Now, GG and Thai are making me cry like my children-pretending-to-be-adults in World of Wardcraft used to do.

Your comments about Thai are uncalled for. First, Thai's wife is hotter than a two dollar pistol. Second, comments like that in Texas would get a boot shoved so far up your rear, you would be whistling dixie. I can not believe after all the work Thai put into this forum, that you bust out with this attitude. This forum is worse off with out Thai and because of that, I am out of here as well.

Yeah this is a bunch of bullshit....This is one of the only sites I come to about everyday, u guys are almost like a second family...and in my opinion, greg and thai are both breaking the forum rules on this one....

If this is my last post it was nice meeting every1 and this forum was great. You can ban me if you want cause I believe alot of members feel the same way i do. This was a 4runner forum and as long as it has to do with a 4runner it should be here. Even, if it is off road, on road and flying.

2.) I can honestly say after owning a new truck every couple years naturally I go and hang out at the sites offered. I have never been on a site like this where people are a wealth technical knowledge ( like Thai ) has been. Also there has been a wealth of knowledge from everyone , weather big or small stuff. THIS IS THE BEST SITE I'VE BEEN ON PERIOD !!!! Everyone has been great and I actually feel I know these people even though I could pass them on the road and never even know it.
3.) I ended up buying my 4R simply because of the things and knowledge I read here about it capabilities from other members.
4.) I'm very sad that this is happening here. I thought this site was way above that type of behavior.
5.)We've all had little spats between each other at one time , but we just moved on. ( ie: Myself and Hivel ) got into it for a while , we moved on and now I look to him for advice , care about how things are going for him. Its all about respect , being able to agree to disagree , love the street / hated the street truck , we can all learn from each other. I HATE 4wd street trucks , but when it comes down to it , if someone works hard for what they have , take pride in it and love what they have then its the best way they could have done things. I can totally appreciate their trucks where I could not before , its called being open minded. ( I'm learning that )

I know GG owns the site and can appreciate what ever he want to do , I may not like it but can appreciate it. the "MEMBERS" are what makes up a site like customers in a business , if you don't make the customers happy or at least get their input the business will shrink and suffer as compared to growth and success.

GG owns (literally) the domain name so we'd have to get him to name a price, then someone would need to agree to buy it from him. Thai would be a logical choice to buy it (if he were so inclined), but since GG banned him, I'd doubt that they are even on speaking terms, much less that GG would agree to sell the domain to Thai for a reasonable amount of money.jpalaska said:

John, I'm sorry but I don't appreciate you as a moderator taking sides with someone that's already been banned. I'm going to revoke your status as "Super Moderator" and if you don't keep your mouth shut about this I'll have no choice but to ban you as well

as someone new to this site, i'm going to give ya'll an outsiders opinion...this entire situation is completely childish and makes the WHOLE site look bad. not just the management, but the members as well. the fact that the admin would publically go after his moderators showing a total abuse of power is absurd. i've seen less fighting on school playgrounds. this whole thread has left nothing but a sour taste in my mouth, and i'll be going elsewhere for my T4R knowledge.
