ARB 4x4 Accessories Part 3423020 - Bull Bar Winch Mount Bumper-RH1
I got mine from 4wheelparts (link above) a few years back for $750 shipped to my door. When they have a big site wide sale they tend to be lenient on discounting items. You HAVE to call them though to work out a deal and you must be willing to pay right then. You may not get it for the price I did but you can probably still get a good deal on it. The worse that can happen is they say they can't discount it and you're in the spot you're in now.
What mod did you have to do to fit the ARB bumper on your 4runner?
take a look-see through this and it should clear all that up for you, i did an almost step by step guide in the instal, and there is some good thoughts and feed back from me and others in there as to modifications that are needed or not needed to make this work well and properly. its pretty straight forward... - http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/105400-rescue-runner-build-thread.html
Since I hit a deer with my late model GMC truck late last month, I purchased a good 1997 4 Runner to get around in bad weather and to take on the disobediant bambi population; well to top it off, I hit a deer the first day driving it to work. Screwed up the front bumper, grille, headlight, turn signal, and right front fender. I have been looking at the ARB front bumpers # 3423020 (ARB 4x4 Accessories Part 3423020 - Black Toyota Tacoma Deluxe Bull Bar Winch Mount Bumper - Fits 1995 to 2004 Toyota Tacoma - 4 Wheel Parts) that would replace the whole bumper assembly and give a grille protection. The manufacturer states that the bumper is around 150 pounds and should be easy to install with SOME modifications to the frame rails. Apparently there is a tab that has to be ground off of the frame. Is there anyone out there that has any background on this bumper install?
The bumper is listed as a fit for the Tacoma 1995 to 2004, but the ARB tech people says that it will fit the 4 Runners.

seriously dude...!? two posts above yours i posted a link to my build where it walks you through this almost step by step, showing you what bolts you have to replace, and what you have to cut, and what you need to weld ect... come on man read a little bit here. and no the bumper does not way 150lbs, i dont know where you read that, but its wrong. i installed the bumper by myself in my garage/driveway, in around 2-3hrs while trying to make sense of instructions and taking pics for the build thread/wright up, id say the bumper weighs around 75-80lbs... without a winch
Seriously, I looked at your post and looked at the pictures tied to the post. It appeared to me that you had the stock type bumper with a bull bar on it. Maybe I missed the whole picture. Sorry to have been in a hurry, I guess. Tyaters is a new thing to me.
I found it and it appears to have what I need. I looked at this whiIe I was at work this morning at 5 O clock and now that I have had time, I found the rest of the story. am trying to comshaw my way into an ARB setup, sot hat I don't have to pay for the factory parts to replace the bumper and then change it out later. I found a source for the ARB bumper at $820.00 delivered to me. Now if the bodyshop can wrangle the money from the original parts to my way, then we have it.
Can you provide any input on how heavy the whole bumper assembly is? The people at ARB said that it was around 100 to 150 pounds total, without the winch. My needs, at this time, does not support any changes on the springs or torsion bars.
