ARB Compressor Question/Setup Pics

Hi All,

Getting ready to install my ARB single compressor on a Rago mount in the engine bay. Setting up a aux fuse box on the same mount since there is extra space. Couple things I was curious about...

1) Anyone care to share pics of their setup. I've seen a few pics on rago's web site but I'm going to be drilling custom holes I think and fitting the aux fuse box where I feel it will be the best fit and wanted some more ideas.

2) Do most of you mount the switch in the cab? I have an OEM Aux switch for the compressor but then I got to thinking I would just mount the switch in the engine bay. Thoughts on this and has anyone does this? Where did you mount the switch?

I guess I should post how I mocked this up with the aux fuse box, breaker and compressor on the rago mount. I plan to use flag terminals out of the breaker and into the fuse box. The 4 gauge wire might have a tough 90 degree bend but I think I can make it work.

Switch inside the cab or I was just going to try and find a spot in the engine bay since this is just for inflating tires. Thoughts here?

I bought the AOB switch to match the dash on the inside. While I was putting everything together I thought it’d be more practical to have the switch at the compressor and just turn it on while plugging in the air hose. So I used the ARB switch in the cut out of the SLEE bracket.

Awesome. That was exactly my logic as well. More practical to have the switch right at the compressor right after I plugged in the air hose. I also bought the switch for inside the cab but doesn’t make as much sense.

x2, if you are going to have to open the hood and hook up the hose anyways, why not just put the switch right there? Much more convenient and less wiring. This is how I did mine and have enjoyed the setup.
