ARB Twin Air Compressor Bracket for 5th Gen.

Well my fabrication guy is almost done with my bracket. He needs to make a minor tweak (we're trying to use the factor manifold tube), make the welds permanent and take it to a wire wheel. It's made of 1/8" stainless. This thing should handle WWIII!!! He's charging me $200. If anyone wants to have him build one for them, PM me and I'll send you his email info

Thanks! I'll pass it on to Kelly (the guy that did the fab). I thought he was going to create a two bracket system and was very happy to see what he came up with. He put a lot into getting it just right and using existing mounting points. I like that it doesn't hang out over the exhaust manifold but we are still considering adding a heat shield, just to be safe.

Will mounting the compressor vertically effect the bearings/bushings? Does ARB say it can be mounted in any orientation?

The manual has a full page of 17 detailed mounting dos and don'ts. Things like keep away from excessive moisture, heat, sunlight, road debris, allow for access to intake filters, keep air and power lines as short as possible, etc, etc. However, there is nothing about the orientation. Considering how many other warnings there are about mounting, if orientation is an issue I would expect a warning about it as well, so it should work fine in any position. Others have mounted in similar orientation and no problems have been reported.

Bracket Extention Date

Hey everyone! Since I have been the one working on the bracket sales, I am extending the final order date till Wednesday, September 26. I am doing so as I will be out of the office on Friday and Saturday. However, please feel free to call the shop and speak to Joe if you are ready to order.

For those who have ordered the brackets, this will not impact the production of your brackets. They are in the process of being built and will ship when they are completed.

When they are being shipped I will post let everyone know and I will also send and email to each individual.

For those who are uncertain if they want the bracket, I may be able to make a second run of them. In order to make the second batch I will need to have a minimum of 5 orders or more.

I still have two other inquiries outstanding, but it looks like $503.70 plus shipping is going to be it.

Has anyone ordered the ARB 1 Gallon Forged Aluminum Air Tank (171501) and have pics of it mounted?

I have the tank, but haven't mounted it yet. It will eventually get crammed in the jack compartment. It will fit, but it's very tight.
