Are these the VSVs needed for the EVAP canister?

Hey guys! One of my 4runners has been plaguing me with constant EVAP leaks and the last one was diagnosed as the VSV on the charcoal canister. The shop told me this could not be purchased separately from the canister on 4runners and the only solution was to buy a new canister. I double checked just to be sure and what they told me seems to be correct; I bought a used canister with a warranty and now I have even more EVAP codes. The canister I bought is not cracked but may have the same issue? Anyways, I found these on RockAuto and while they're not OEM, are these the valves that Toyota does not sell that attach to the canister?

Could i have just replaced one of these instead of buying the whole can? I'm hoping it's the same issue and i can just replace these valves with new ones and be on my way rather than waiting with returns, etc. on the used canister I bought. Guess it serves me right for being cheap..

Not sure as I threw out my old canister but I don't think so. I believe the shop was correct as I can't find anywhere to buy OEM replacements without. Ugingf the whole canister but if I can buy these aftermarket ones that could've saved me some hassle

Yeah you may not be able to buy the parts from Toyota but if the VSV’s have any sort number on them you should be able to cross-reference them with a generic one

Heck yeah! Getting smoke tested at the shop right now, hopefully that's all it needs and I can finally get rid of these evap codes for good
