wow... you should brush the snow off your runner before you drive it. It is always annoying when getting dusted by someone's snow on their cars. Not to mention getting dusted by your own snow on your hood could be a hazard to you and reduce your visibility.

Was going duck hunting...got about 90 miles in nasty road conditions to find that all but one of my buddies backed out on me! I said to heck w/ the last weekend, I would rather be snowed in w/ my wife! Here's a few pics, the
4runner did AWESOME in the snow/ice! I love the trac control and VSC. Seriously. It does it's job well. When I wanted to spin the tires, I just locked the center diff. Enjoy the pics!

That looks like fun! I love your puppy as well reminds me of my own.

I went out late this afternoon and this evening for the first time since the storm. Streets aren't too bad ... some patchy ice, but the 4Runner handled everything perfectly. Most of the drivers were being careful -- a few morons going too fast, but they were the exception.

Roads should be back to normal by Monday.

That puppy had too much fun in the snow, huh? I'm surprised the puppy has yellow eyes while human beings get the red eye thing. lol

The difference between our eyes and a dogs is a special coating that covers the back inside part of the eye that reflects like back to the optic nerve amplifying it. Our eyes don't have that, so the red comes from light reflecting off the very back of the inside of our eye which is blood.

This is why dogs, cats, etc... can see MUCH MUCH better than we can in low light. For example, most lions attack at twilight because they can see exceptionally well while their prey are having a hard time. Makes it easy for them.
