Automatic Climate Control in Trail

Is it possible? As all know Trail has manual temp and A/C controlls. What I'm curious is about getting control panel designed for Limited and pluging it in Trail. Any ideas if it is Plug-n-Play or No-Go due to connector or other problems?

Likely wont work. Toyota has a bad habit of putting specific wiring harnesses, computers, etc in each different model and rendering them completely incompatible.

While I don't have any knowledge of the Limiteds' dual climate control, I would assume there would be more involved in then simply switching out the front end. Seems such a system would involve other sensors, internal airflow controls, etc. I could be mistaken however.

It can be done on the Tundra since they all come with the dual zone AC ducting. It's still a lot of work though.

On the 4Runner you'd need, at minimum:

- sun load (light) sensor
- front bezel and control unit
- ac ducting and control unit

It's the third part that's the pain to install, set up, and calibrate.
