Available HU ??? with Navigation / DVD / BackUp Camera

First off... Metra kits are not as bad you are making them out to be. Blame your installer, because most kits come with a way of bolting them to the car rather than just snapping in. Your installer just ops to let it snap in becuase for the average person it works nicely. But for a double din, pioneer, eclipse, etc... all the kits used to make these fit in your 4runner are the same! The z1 and any eclipse double din are going to use your factory mounting brackets with filler plastic peices on each side... while a little bit of trimming of the plastic may be required, all-in-all they are the same.

What are the available aftermarket head unit available that offers a perfect bolt on fit for a generation 4?

I DO NOT want utilized a HU adapters since 99% of all adapter sucks. The only adapter worthwhile are the 1% of custom made adapters.

The CD S/N is the next most important feature as I will be givin up a Sony CDX-C90 to go multimedia.

I am also considering OEM HU. Which OEM stock Nav / DVD HU offer RCA out capabilities? I also DO NOT want to convert speaker level output into RCA.


Any input is appreciated. Cost is not a concern. So far Eclipse is preferred brand.

Not mandatory - however it would be nice for such HU to be compatible with the steering wheel buttons.
