Also, the right-angle end of the lan cable should be plugged into the sirius module and the straight end into the hu. I'm not sure if it matters though.

I had it professionally installed so I thouight it was done correct. I took the install book and redid everything. It works!!! I think that the right end plug was actually on the wrong end, funny you mentioned that. Well thanks alot.

I personally have not tried that. Being that I've tried the AVN5500 DVD on the AVN5435 and it not working really well makes me think that they are not all interchangeable.

Does anyone wanna do me a big favor and make me a copy of the v1.4 map disc? I am interested in the updated map data; there are just too many new streets not covered by the old DVD.
