You can adjust your brightness and contrast in the settings via Entune. I still have my stock bulbs in my reverse lights sockets and my backup display on the screen is beautiful. Try that before spending any money.

Yep, was just thinking of suggesting that too. On my old Taco, I did the LED swap on the domes, map lights, and license plate which rocked- but the reverse LED's just didn't project any light like the stock incandescent bulbs did so I stuck with stock in that location.

Back up camera

I think the backup camera works well enough. During the day it adjusts for brightness of the ground. I don't recall any problems at night. I'll look next time I'm backing out at night. The lens gets blurry if it gets wet and dries. The water here in So Cal is very hard, full of minerals, and that may be why.
One thing I learned the hard way is that the camera points down and does not see level, much less up. I was watching my monitor one day while backing up in a parking garage and ran smack into an overhead pipe that hung down. It bent in the back bar on my Baja Rack. Unlike the standard flat utility rack, I paid extra for a straight back tube. It misses the shark fin and makes it easier to load lumber and gear. That back bar bent in to almost touching the shark fin. The pipe would have taken out the shark fin if it weren't for the straight rack. Cost me $50 for a welder to replace the section of tube. Cheap lesson.

I have not had any issues at night with mine. I only use it for reference so it does the job well. It is the first time I own a vehicle with one and it is handy. My only problem has been the drops of water in the rain can obscure it a bit.

Backing up at night wasn't to bad until I add 15% tint to all my windows, now I can't see anything. Lol. Have to roll down my window and look out to see. Need to look into some backup lights now.
