Need help from anyone whom has installed the Toyota backup camera on 4runner. I added the blackened lights, the Solara nav system, and am adding the last addition on my list. Got the camera, but no instructions. It almost looks like it attachs to the metal bumper under the cosmetic bumper. Anyone know?...also the camera came with only a short 6 inch cable with harness on the end. Is the other part of harness already inside the reer of T4R, or is it something i have to add myself. I know the place to plug it into the rear of the Solara Nav.

The info you are looking for is here in the forum, somewhere. Do a search on Back up camera. Not sure of the exact thread.
I am also going to install the backup camera, still looking for a good price. Some have put the camera up in/under the spooler yet others have put it in the trailer hitch. The OEM install is under the trim above and to the left of the licence plate.
I am interested in the black head/tail light mod. Where do you get these, Someone posted some pictures here but lost that thread. Any help an where I can acquire these bits would be appreciated.

i got my black headlights from carson toyota....Steve and Gordon over there have given me free shipping and taken real good care of me. i paid $487 i think it was for the backup camera, which was 100-200 less then other dealers where asking for it. i also got the cloth garbage bag everyone here talks about from stsve ganz at carson. with the solara nav, the blackened lights, the backup camera, and the other mods i have added i am left with one more add-on...Steve is going to get me a real good price on the TRD dual exhaust and the supercharger. then my T4R will be complete

No pics have been posted as of yet guys, i was kinda waiting till it was all complete, you know, all my mods where finally added. I just bought a new digital camera, i will try to work something ouot in the next few days.................btw, the sierra install on the backup camera is a bit confusing, has anyone acually done the install on a T4R?
