Baja Rack install question

Probably a silly question (I seem to be asking more of those lately!) - can anyone see a problem installing the Baja long rack, using the old Bolts that held the Toyota rail on, instead of the new bolts supplied by Baja?
I like the built in washer on the head of those bolts, and the rubber washer under that. Seems like a good water seal, rather than gooping up the new bolt head and washer with RTV.
Bolts are the same length. Only problem I can think of is the new bolts may be stronger to go with the higher load rating of the Baja?
Any thoughts?

Are they the same size? I could see them being longer to accommodate the size of the rack. On a side note do you plan on adding a light bar to yours? I am currently debating which setup to get for my baja longrack.

The second time I had to reseal my Baja mounting-points, I pulled the bolts they sent, re-RTV'd the heck out of everything, and then reinstalled with the factory bolts. So far so good. I liked the idea of the rubber seals, too. Now dry as a bone.

New bolts definitely same length, but the rubber washer on the OEM bolts made them effectively just a bit shorter.
I decided to go with the new bolts, plus steel washer, plus OEM rubber washer, some sealant under the bolt head, and sealant around the plastic tubes on the roof. I also used some blue Loctite thread sealer. (Belt and suspenders approach, or Anal/OCD? - you pick!)

Sean: - not considering a light bar at the moment. I don't do much night trail-crawling, I don't want light bar in the way of my canoe, and I don't want to look that cool! (Also, no $ left for a light bar)
