Thanks man. I only have about 140,000 miles on mine. Its just a baby yet!

I know there are at least a few guys on here who have supercharged high mileage engines. I think if your engine is in good condition and well maintained, you should be fine.

Holy smokes! I just spent another big chunk of money. I just bought all the parts for my dual HID projector retrofit from TheRetrofitSource.com.

- 2 pairs of projectors
- 2 pairs of ballasts
- 2 pairs of bulbs
- 2 wire harnesses
- And a few other miscellaneous parts I'll need.

At least I saved a few hundred dollars with their 25% off Black Friday sale.

Between this and the supercharger, I am spending way too much money this week.

on to 2010. I decided i wanted to learn to weld. So how better to learn, than by building a custom front bumper.

and with lights and d-rings:

the last thing i completed was replacing my old lift with the ss 1.2 suspension lift. I also installed spidertrax 1.25" wide wheel spacers on all corners.

currently, i am working on a custom front skidplate to compliment the front bumper. It should be completed later this year. Then next spring i will be getting 35" mickey thompson mtz tires. I also plan on starting to build a rear bumper soon too.

A bunch of parts came in today for my dual projector retrofit. Here are the two sets of projectors:

The pair on the right is Morimoto's new D2S 4.0 projectors with a 3" lens. These are bi-xenon, and will be used for my main low/hi beam lights. The pair on the left are Morimoto 4TL-R projectors with a 2.5" lens. These will come on only when the hi-beams are activated, so that all 4 projectors will be on for hi-beams.

Here are a bunch of other parts that are needed:

This includes bulbs, ballasts, igniters, wire harnesses, vent patches, sealant, etc.

So after purchasing the supercharger, I wanted to add a supercharged emblem to the truck to show it off a little. I searched quite a bit, but didn't really see any that I liked. Also, none of them looked right with my current homemade sport edition badges. This one:

So I decided to design and make my own. I decided to combine the sport edition and supercharged badges together into one badge for a cleaner look.

But then I had additional idea. My 4Runner is so heavily modified, it is no longer a "Sport Edition". It is now a "Bandit Edition". So long story short, this is what I came up with:

Great looking T4R! I've been looking to do something like your original photos, where you have the fog lights attached to the OG fat lip bumper. I've been looking for a guide or instructions on how to do it. I'd appreciate any advice you can send my way

Made a little progress on the dual projector headlight project. My plan is to make an aluminum sheetmetal bracket to mount the projectors to. Over the last few days, I made a quick prototype of the bracket. It turned out pretty good for bending it in a vise with a hammer, and hacking out the openings with a dremmel:

Then I mounted the projectors into it:

With the headlight housing:

And roughly sitting in the housing to get an idea of how things will all fit together:

In the near future, I should be posting some rough CAD images of what the headlights will look like when completed.

...just like the rest of your 4runner. And I think it is well stated, since you have custom fabbed every 'fricken' thing on it. It's more Bandit than Toyota at this point. LOL
