Basic Toolkit for 4Runners - what don't you leave home without?

I'm trying to make a fairly compact tool kit that will stay in the rig at all times - let's say shoe box size or smaller. I stay on trails that are mostly 25 miles or less from home so not planning on any major field repairs so keeping it to the basics. Seems like all the bolts I've encountered have all been metric, does this hold true for a vast majority of the vehicle? Any tool(s) that are particularly useful that I might not think of putting a standard kit together?

I have seen some good threads with very thorough tool inventory lists, but I'm looking for more of a core kit to always have with me.

I bought a "mechanic" set from craftsman awhile back. It's small enough for basic field repairs and wasn't a bad price. I got it on sale for like $20 for the 60 piece set. That plus a rubber mallet and another set of ratcheting wrenches. There are other small things you may want but I personally haven't run into an issue that the basic tools can't fix yet. At least to get me home.

Another thought to add to the mix that is neglected is Fluids, extra hoses, I am sure missing something, just a idea.. I;m not saying a whole autopart store worth but ya know just enough to do the trick til u make it to a garage.
