hey all..
over the last few days ive noticed my Battery light will come on and off.. some times it will blink, other times it will stay on constantly. i checked the battery with a multi meter today. with the car off it was reading around 12.5v.. i started the car and it shot up to 14.3v.... however, as i let the car idle, and turned on my lights and fan the volts just started dropping. 14.4, 14.2,... etc when i turned the car off it had dropped down to 13.6v and im sure it would have kept going.
so i think i need to change my alt. but i just wanted to get some second opinions.
the truck is a 1998 4runner 2.7L
