Not sure where you are in the bay, SF I am guessing, but toy connection in Santa Clara has engines available
Short block around 800
Long block around 1200
Rebuilds are 2500

Not sure how they are on prices, but if Craigslis cant provide and you need a 5vz, they are allways an option. They do installs too if you want to go that rout. If your close to palo alto, I can assist some if needed. Good luck

Headcount

Time is approaching and I thought I would try to get a head count as an opertunity to bump this thread. So far, no one has commited but the following have said they would attend from what I gather. Correct me if I'm wrong

Lol! Looks like a good mix of newb with stock trucks and some regulars with some nice builds. So, if you wan to confirm with me great, and if you plan on camping let me know too as I will need to start planning that part of it as well.

Ahhhhhahaha my bad buddy! It's related tho, I'm in the bay area and this is an open discussion. Title says meet and greet not hollister hills run. Just giving other peeps the heads up that dont want to go to that lame ole spot. I don't care if nobody joins in. I just need to get out into the woods, but of course it'd be great to see some runners there!

Ced it honestly doesn't really matter how stock you are. I've taken my 4runner many places stock. Google slick rock trail ca. I've ran that in my runner stock. All the jeepers were like wtf!?!?! You took that, down here!!! It won't be that much wheeling more exploration of that national forest and what not.

Sweet, looks like we're going to have a good attendance. Also, I seem to have goods up on my dates, I will be in Hollister Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I have the post as jun 2nd which is Sunday, but I obviously will be wheeling on Saturday too. So come up sat, or Sunday or both.
