Agree with all the others. You may get away with 3rd party parts in other areas, but this is one area you don't want to go that route. And the cost difference isn't much.

I have to 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc.. OEM only. Far to critical of a part to ever consider or trust anything else.

Per your VIN toyota can see what was done. If its a safety recall it can always be done no madder the age of vehicle.

Uniball only increases range of motion, it does not address or improve the safety aspect of having all of the weight hanging from a ball resting on a hole that is only a little smaller than the ball. It's exactly the same in that respect.
