Best All-Season Tire For a Car

Hey everyone<p>
So I'm in the market for new tires for my girl's 2005 Honda Civic Ex. The tire size is 195/60/R15. <p> It came stock with Bridgestone Potenza RE32's.<p> The handling,comfort, tread wear was okay, but I'd rather her get a better tire.<p> My question to all of you with cars would be what is a very good all season tire that you've had experience with and would suggest i look at?<p> Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I own a 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE that came shod with Bridgestone Potenza rubber from the factory. I got about ~38k from them and replaced them with BF Goodrich Touring T/A tires from Wal-Mart.

I have the optional 15-inch factory "alloy" rims (14" steelies were standard equipment) that came with the Synergy Package. The OEM size was P195-60-HR15, which I kept the same.

I got just shy of ~40k on the BFG's and replaced them again with the same size & type - but this time from Costco. I've gone almost 20,000 miles on them and find them to be a much better all-around tire than the Potenza. They cost less too!!

If you have a Costco in your town, I recommend using them for tires. Not only do they do "free" tire rotation and road hazard warranty coverage, but they use nitrogen instead of regular air and re-balance your wheels if you request it. IMHO, they're also a bit faster and typically get it done in one hour instead of three or four (fewer people waiting) needed at Wal-Mart's tire center. The "out the door" prices are similar, though, after you factor in how much is charged for taxes, mounting, balancing, etc., etc.

I have heard good things about Falken & Kumho tires; but don't have any actual experience with either brand.

I have 205/60/16 Yokohamma YK520 slapped on my '02 Honda Accord EX V6. Great all-year round even in the snow.

Is the 2005 the same body style as the 2003?

When did the new body style come out?

Bridgestone RE92s are decent at most. I had it on my 2003 Camry & they were decent, didn't have a problem.

When I use to work at Wheel Works...I noticed a lot of RE92s that had cracks in the sidewall, from there, I didn't like that tire. And look how cheap the price is for those, that should tell you alone.

The reason why I asked you about the body style...is because my brother has the 2003 Coupe.

It came stock w/ 185/65/15, I have the 7spoke Si wheels. I put 205/50zr15 Fuzion ZRi on them. They are very great tires, haven't had any problems w/ them, they don't wear out fast. I haven't driven hard w/ them, but I wouldn't say it's an AutoX tire.

Fuzion is a cousin of Bridgestone/Firestone.

Stay away from Falken tires...they wear out too fast. Had the Falkin 502s, 512s & friend had some sticky ones & they all wore out quickly

On my dad's 2007 Camry...I recently put on Bridgestone Potenza G 019 Grid. Haven't driven it much since it's my dad's car & didn't get a whole lot of chance to test it out, however I like them so far.

I love Bridgestone, Firestone & Yokohama.

I would consider Michelin X-Radial, available at Sams Club. It is one of the best all-seasons, according to Consumer Reports.

I have Michelin Pilot Exalto's. They're great, much better than the stock Bridgestone ER33.
