Best Color for Trail Edition?

I also like the contrast of the black trim to the silver paint. However, I also like a contrasting interior to the exterior. This is where the silver take's a back seat to the Salsa Red IMO. Salsa would be my likely choice for a TE. Although, I would probably have to toss a coin if two were on the lot side by side.

On a side note, besides the more purposeful rugged look the black plastic on the TE gives the 5th gen, it also helps to reduce the bulkiness of the side profile; especially on a contrasting color like silver. The plastic really "slims" the vehicle down in addition to giving it "pop" appeal. That would be the primary reason for the coin toss. Now, if the TE had a sand beige interior option, case closed! A silver TE would be in the driveway.

Silver - Classic!
Mag Grey - You the Man!
Blizzard Pearl - Smooth!
Salsa Red - Spicy! (though at times it looks lipstick red?)
Black - Badass!
Shoreline Blue - like going on vacation everyday!

Mag Grey is an awesome color but here in Utah with the light fine sand we have you can wash it then drive a mile and it looks dirty again. It also shows up pin striping very well so if you're in to pin striping it's a great color. For the reasons above my mag grey is actually in the painting booth right now getting repainted silver.
