best sparkplug / wire set?

For future reference for everyone else:
Go to your local Toyota dealership and go to the parts counter. Give them year/make (if they're dumb they will ask for your VIN) and tell them you need spark plugs. They'll give you a set of OEM plugs, I think made by Denso. Denso makes the coils, so maybe the plugs too.
Those were made for your truck and work perfectly. No need to search for part numbers, pay for shipping, etc.

I just ordered me some new plugs and wires, did the mix match like bhowle did with denso and ngk so well see how my gas mileage goes. I will probably wait to put these on when I put my headers on.

So just to make sure that I am on track when I order these so I am not short.
NGK (3967) BKR5EKB-11 Spark Plug -6 needed
NGK TE 66 (4412) Wire Set -1 set of 3 needed
NGK CPB-T003 (58931) Ignition coil on Plug boot -3 needed?
Last one I found on Amazon and can't tell if theres a quantity associated with it.

let me see what i have at home... i might have that stuff.
i had bought plugs and wires for my wife's 2k 4runner.
unfortunately, i never used them.
i can look for them when i get back home.
otherwise, if someone can confirm those parts and you need to order... go for it

I would appreciate it. Took it on a nice little trip this weekend, left Friday, came home Sunday, and Monday #6 decided to start misfiring......:sobbing:

OK, I see a common thread throughout here re: plugs- NGK or Denso or not at all. (Gulp) So has anybody tried the e3 plugs? I ask because I'm new here and most importantly a Toyota newby. They worked very well in my Jeep Cherokee but these 4Runners seem a little bit finnicky/tricky with more sophistication.

No E3 plugs. Dual electrode Denso or NGK. Nothing else.

I won't use Bosch plugs ever again in my 3.4. Why? Because here's one of my old ones after 1 year/12K and all 6 were like this:
I've been running NGKs ever since (last 5 years or so) and never had any of them look like this even after running them for twice as long.
I just pulled the front driver side plug to hopefully find a reason for 15mpg. Not too bad but I did notice some blow by.
Records show previous owner had them done 20k ago but I had to be sure. Figure I'll go NGK this time around and check the rest.
It's looks to be running lean and hot but I'm still a newb. So any thoughts are welcome.

Anyone ever run the single tip NGK G-Power (BKR5EGP), when I went to Oreilly's they had their Autolite series and I perferred to go with NGK. Little did I know that the OEM are twin tip and found a portion in the manual saying only use Toyota twin tip. Is this concept dated?
I just bought my 4Runner so did not have a chance to compare fuel economy.

Twin tip bc toyota utilizes a wasted spark ignition. I could be wrong on this issue. Whe. I worked on my truck before i owned it i did plugs and wires with whatever they gave me from O'Reillys single tip ngks. I remember vividly commenting to my friend about it then. Now 60k miles later i dont think its matters much but everything is OEM from toyota except that tune up. I have the oem parts, but i plan to replace them with twin electrodes when i do the valve covers.

Thanks for in the input. I was able to swap out the wrong one for the twin tip NGK's.
