I would recommend them for more power, but I've never saw an increase in milage from them.

I could assume that the comment you made above meant you didn't see a decrease in MPG, but I'd rather not. So did you notice any negative affect to MPG with the ignition system? Also, what kind of gain in HP did you see?

I think it have to do with the computer that you have in your truck. Today's car is all about Copmuter. Your computer will change the rate how much air and gas mix is need when it need. The computer on the dash is not very true. It is using the average. I say it will take at least 2 to 3 tanks of gas before the computer that drive your car to fully adjust to the correct ratio to mix the gas.

I only use 91 gas. And I use to have a Corolla and I used 87 and when I use 91, it give me a feel miles more.

I have an '05 Sport V8 4x4. On the hwy, I just got almost 21mpg. and driving easy at about 70 to 75 mph.

i dont believe in the new market for ( improve gas milage products) thats BS but i do believe that you should clean the injectors and fuel system so your not losing gas milage i do it every so often on my diamante its a 2002 and i run an emission kit and efi service and i truly see a difference by how much gas im using compared to how much im driving

V8 mileage

My computer sometimes indicates 20.5 for a highway trip running around 75mph. However, the couple of times I have checked it the old fashioned way I seem to be getting around 19mph.

I do see variation....even on the same trip.....I think it may have to do with variation in gasoline.....does anyone know about gasoline production and variability in batches?

The usual highway reading on the computer is 19-20.....so I am assuming my real highway mileage is around 18.

I get the above using regular (87). I was using mid grade on the assumption that it was giving me higher mileage...but I'm not sure it was. I'll test it again when the prices come down a bit.

It seems that typically the trip computer over-reports by around 10%, and the odometer under-reports by about 3%. Therefore the actual net effect for the trip computer being off is around 7% (over reporting). This has been checked with GPS & mileage markers on various occasions.

I have not found much, if any, variation in different octane grades - even towing aggressively. The only grade I know it doesn't like is the 85 they have in the mountains!
