Better tires????

I highly recommend the Hankook DynaPro ATM - All Terrain tires. Had them on my Tacoma and now on the T4r. Excellent in all terrain and high Hiway speeds. Look into them and read the reviews on Discount Tires site. They look cool too!

Someone here at work has these on his Tacoma. Great looking tire. Much more aggressive in person than the pics. More aggressive than the Destination AT's (on my wife's '03 Sport). The tires on the Tacoma are probably LT E's because the tread is pretty deep (vs the P rated). Looks like they only have P's and E's, would rather have a C or even D.

The Hankook looks pretty nice. Lot's of sipes and good tread blocks. Probably good off road and on.

I'm also considering the Cooper Discoverer AT3 which is pretty similar to the Hankook.

They now have 20k, and look damn near like new. Love these things for a road tire.

Would you be able to post a complete side and front 3/4 view of your runner? Really like your 18" wheel setup!

I just put on a set of the bfg at ko's. Love the tire, they are great in mud and sand. which is what we have down here in my part of Florida.

They do have downsides, I put on the same size as the original, but due to the extra weight, I seem to have a lost a 1 mpg. They also will hold and throw bigger pieces of gravel. If you live on a gravel road I would avoid getting a real agressive off road tire just because of them constantly grabbing gravel and throwing it up onto the side of your truck.

Just my opinion though.

But. Depending on the angle of how,where your truck is parked or has it's wheels turned.....you can still some letters.....drives me nuts if I had that.

When I buy tires with white letters I turn them in and then I spray the letters with flat black spray paint. I've done that on a few cars and it looks fine.
