BFG A/T tire size after FJ swap

The time has come to order some new tires. I've done the FJ swap with tokico shocks F & R and a Toytec 1/2'' spacer up front. I've seen many members with the 265/65r17, and I've also seen members with the 270/65r17. Which is a better fit? I understand some fender trimming will have to occur, but I do not want to remove the mudflaps. Should I play it safe with the 265/65's or go for it with the 270/65's? I'm not planning on putting on wheel spacers, either, and my mind is already made up for the BFG's. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

What you want is 265/70/17 BFG all terrains. Make sure they are load range c and not e. E load range are to stiff riding.

Yes go with the 265/70/17 BFG's and load range C. You might experience a tad of rubbing but you can easily fix that with JA's post about the trimming.
