I paid $688 with free shipping for 265 load C yesterday. Couldn’t pass up that sale on eBay.

I'm in Mexico and can buy them at Costco for $688 , tax included. The dollar is killing the peso now, plus the BFG's have a discount. Plus they give you a Cash Card for $200. (that's pesos = $10USD)

Also with installation package includes mounting, balance, nitrogen tire inflation, lifetime Rotation, lifetime Flat Repair, lifetime Inflation Checks, new rubber valve stem.

That's all they sell at Costco MX for off-road needs...

FYI, I had some Toyos and they were at the end of their life. They were extremely durable but I want to try the BFGs , heard they were a bit quieter...

Putting some load range C 265's on Friday, paid $374 out the door after difference with the trade-in on my factory Nitto's. That's a drop in the bucket for the trade up to a more durable and better looking tire, I can live with it. If they do well over the next year I'll likely pick them up in the 285 load range C flavor (JL OEM tire) when I lift it next summer.

This is what I did! I found a deal for all 5 285/70-17 C load with only 2,000 miles for $600. I wasn’t sold on the KO2 and wanted to stick with the Falken AT3W but between the C load and that deal...I couldn’t say no.

I’m running at 40psi and couldn’t be happier. They’ve been great both on and off road. Time will tell as they wear since some report significant loss of traction around 20,000 miles.

Yes, for nearly 2 months now. They are great! Not as much MPG loss as E's (less than 1 MPG for me) and I feel no change in power/resistance whatsoever.

Did you initially install or already have a lift when you made this upgrade?

Put them on February 1st along with the front Bilsteins set at the top notch and Daystar 1.5" spacers in the rear. First time lifting/installing bigger tires so I don't have much to compare to; was completely stock before. Love the looks and the loss of nose dive. Heading to Hidden Falls Adventure Park tomorrow morning to take the easy to moderate trails - no armor and it's just me and my wife going so the plan is to take it super easy. I'm running 40psi on the road and plan to air down to 20psi for the trail.

Can we get an update on the C's? How much MPG did you lose?

K02 nightmare

I don’t know if thread is still active. I have always loved the look of these tires. Right after I bought my new ‘19 T4R TRD off road (3 weeks ago). I went to get my new K02’s to replace stock Bridgestone duelers. 265/70/17 load C. I went through two sets and they couldn’t balance out properly. The BFG’s had a rough ride and swayed side to side. I paid a little more for the Nitto RG’s (same size) and they ride way better. BFG K02 is a beautiful tire but sadly I don’t think they aren’t made like they used to be.

I did the same thing as you after 300 miles on a 19 bought in April. 265s in load C. Balance was dead on first try, no tracking issues. No issues at all really, except for marginal wet weather performance, but I knew that going in. I'm not overly impressed with them. There are just so many good options out there that weren't available when the original KO was so popular.

I got 285 C load K02's put on a few week ago, they would not balance and my steering wheel shook insanely. DT let me exchange them for some Falken Wildpeaks and while they are slightly noiser, they don't have balance issues and are definitely more confidence inspiring in the rain.

Didn't see neone mention the pizza cutters 255/75/17s which am very close to pulling the trigger on. A local wholesale club quoted me 946 otd for a set of four...should I wait for a sale? Have a local shop that can mount them although he doesn't have a road force balancer.

Had the KO2's on my OR Tacoma and they were a great tire for mostly on road use. 40,000 miles at trade in and still had a lot tread life left.

If you have the 255/75/17's plz post pics...thnks for any help.

265/70/17 C’s . 6000 miles at 38lbs of pressure. No problem with RoadForce balance. Quite and ride smooth on the street.

Have you upgraded suspension/lifted your 4Runner or are these pictures of it with stock suspension? Also assuming 275/70/R17 KO2's?

I have been rocking the 275/70/17's on my Pro for nearly a year now (3 weeks shy) and we have almost 23,000 miles on them now. I have never had a balance issue, no shimmy or shake in the steering wheel, even tread wear all around and and excellent tread life. They measure 15/32" new and all of mine currently sit at 12/32", I don't plan on keeping them more than another six months since we plan to finally lift it and go bigger, but I don't see any reason why these wouldn't easily get 60,000 miles. I love the way the KO2 looks and it has been exceptional in all substrates except for heavy mud and I rarely see that in this vehicle. I know that as they wear/age they get less confident in heavy rain, but I have yet to experience that with this set.

On my 100 Land Cruiser I've got about 25k miles on my KO2s so far. Size is 275/70/18. I'm a big fan of those tires for any mixed use vehicle. Highway is very quiet at 40+ psi, with typical road noise around 33 psi. Treadwear is excellent. My last KO set lasted around 55k miles before they started to make some noise and I swapped them out.

You can get better off road performance with many other tires, but the KO2 is just about the best blend of highway and off-road ability out there for your average weekend adventurer, IMO.

Loving mine. They handle INSANE in snow and when on dirt trails. Over all love them 10/10 would recommend especially for those snow trips..

I have an icon stage 2 and 285/70r17 (fender mods, no bmc). The ride quality was the same for me, quieter than I expected, and looks aggressive but not tacky, I think. I say go for it and if you need help with sizing to avoid rubbing pm me!

I have load range E. Got them because I do off road in Colorado where the granite rocks are sharp. If you off road where it is mostly sandstone (Moab), then you don't need that.
