I've never used KO2's in the snow, but the AT3's are better in the rain and when we had our once in a century storm in Texas last February they carved through the snow with ease.
Just put 255/80 17 Wildpeaks on a few weeks ago. Ride is great even for an E rating, and they’re solid in the Colorado snow. Best of all, steering wheel wobble is GONE! These replace a set of very old KOs. I have no complaints.

Lift? Pics?
Living in the PNW, i've had both. Get the AT3W. KO2's are comically dangerous in the rain.
Do you ever own wildpeaks they are standard on the new rubicon and raptors as well the Subaru off roaders I’ve had them for 2 and half years and have been flawless !!!
communication without knowledgelayball:
What’s the advantage of the Wildpeaks? They have fanatical levels of talk about them now.
Lighter?
Sizes that BFG doesn’t offer?
Traction?
Cheap?

just a quick update as the OP of the thread. I ended up going with the Wildpeak since I got a hook up through my gf family friend. $700 install at Mavis compared to the $980 installed for the KO2 at Costco.
I have a slight vibration around 50-60mph, don't know if I want to risk getting rebalance and making worse. Either way not bad enough to make me go back.
As far as performance, definitely an improvement over stock ORP tires. I drove through a couple heavy rain storms that we've been having here in NY/NJ with no issues. No real test in snow yet.
Overall I'm really happy with my first A/T tire. Also I was getting shitty gas mileage but once I inflated tires up to around 36-37 PSI, gas mileage normalized.
