Big Bear Roll Call

Thanks Nihkon for taking the pics. It was great wheeling with you all. White Mountain was much easier than I thought it was going to be, even Sean made it through with his 100% stock 97.

Do you use Google Photo / Picasa?

Google now allows up to 15 GB of photo uploads for free or unlimited as long as resolution is < 2400x2400 when uploaded.

Just setup a google account, install picasa, put a star on the good pics, choose upload to album, share album.

I'm really tired of seeing 800x600 Flicker pics, especially when people set it to "don't share" .... please share :)

Jason, so glad u had a good time! Was it ur buddy who was taking video?
Naw, my buddy was doing gops stuff. My brother was shooting with my camera while I was behind the wheel, but it was just photos. I did have my gopro mounted to the roof, but didn't catch anything exciting.

I do have google/picasa. Usually I just upload photos to my own server space though. Whether I put them on my server or on picasa, will depend on how many "keeper" photos I end up with. I usually edit them to 1024 wide.

Here are the first few of my photos:

That's all the photos that my brother and I took. Unfortunately, because of the way the group split up, we weren't able to get photos of everyone that came out.

Thanks dude!
I'm still just using Photoshop for all my photo work. I've had Lightroom for years, but haven't taken the time to try to learn it. One of these days....

Excellent photos Jason! I will be camping there the week of August 5th. If you or anyone else wants to meet up, I'll be 'wheeling all week. Hopefully will have my Spartan installed by then. Want to do White Mtn. the other direction(West to East), cause the way we ran it was a cakewalk!

total cake! with extra icing.

I had a pleasant time, despite the heat. One thing the 4runners have over the Wranglers? Better AC systems with fully enclosed cabins! LOVE IT.

Thanks to my driver, Nihkon, for letting me tag along and having great pics.

@!#$%@#%!@#$@#%@#$!!!! I can't make it tomorrow guys. Had my stuff loaded up for tomorrow.

4. nihkon (Jason) +1?
5. Jedrattle (Shaun) +3
6. azn-sensation (Johnny)
7. BobsTrail (Bob & Lynda)

This problem of a cyl misfire happen to me before on one of my 3rd gen. The fix was running platinum spark plugs on all the normal cyl and run a iridium spark plugs on the cyl that is misfiring. Try it and let me know if that fix it.

This is what i want to do someday. Move out west and wheel all day camp. Looks fun guys! nice rig Reina

We had a great time! Thank you Paul for setting this up and leading us, I'm still in awe of your offroad skillz. That trail we turned back on, you went down that thing like it was a speed bump! My family and I really enjoyed meeting you all and look forward to another run. My stock TE did ok for the most part, it needs a lift and bigger tires in order for me to feel comfortable doing the more advanced trails, I was bottoming out on parts of the White Mtn trail. The bottom has skid plates everywhere so no damage. I did however scratch the crap out of it, not pretty on a black truck. Luckily my dealer has a body shop and they were able to buff them all out, I'm using this stuff for next time Welcome to Offroad Rashguard
