Sadly, yes it does.
I can measure tonight, my recollection is 32 1/2". If you'll shoot me a PM to remind me, I'll check when I get home.your hub to fender measurements are with e 4/6 c-clip setting?
I was filling up today and did a walk-around as I usually do. I immediately noticed oil in the passenger side wheel well, looked closer and found that my nearly new 6112 has blown. I'm really bummed because I've barely even used them off road, almost entirely on-road. Well, we'll see what Bilstein says on Monday . . .
Yikes...that sucks to see. Hopefully Bilstein can cover it.I was filling up today and did a walk-around as I usually do. thats really strange. Have you noticed a difference in ride. Can you see the source?I was filling up today and did a walk-around as I usually do. I have not noticed a difference in the ride. However, it just happened in the last day or so. I think it's the seal around the shaft, but I cannot be sure. I'll let you know when I find out.
Must be just a bad unit. I’ve had my 6112’s on since September and have abused them so far, same with my brother on his 5th gen. Hope they take care of you otherwise someone has the boss setup for sale on the socal section.
I could be wrong, but I don't think changing the spring rate is going to increase the height. If you have them set at the highest setting, I don't think you can go any higher. Have you considered a spacer lift for the front?Hey everyone, I've been searching and searching and haven't found the info I need. Bilstein wasn't any help either.
I have a 2005 V8 and recently installed Icon UCA's with Delta Joints, Bilstein 6112 coilovers, Bilstein 5160 reservoir shocks, and ARB 2885 Medium coil springs.
I am disappointed in the amount of rake that I have. My rear is measuring at 38.5 ground to fender, and my front is measuring 36.5. My question is if anyone has upgraded coil springs on their 6112's. I am looking at going to a 700lb spring rate from the 600lb spring rate. I think the height is 14", so I was just going to stick with that. Does anyone have any experience with this, or any ideas?
Thanks

I am trying to avoid any spacers... never heard anything good about putting them on already lifted coilovers. Would getting a longer spring help, or would that give it too much preload? Could I use these king 2.5" diam. springs? https://wheelersoffroad.com/i-30589...s-for-2-5-coilovers.html?ref=category:1346100
I think the 14” 650# will give you some more lift. 6112 coils are 600#. I have a 1/2” top out spacer which adds 1” lift and have had no issues. Pretty sure once you go more than 3” total you need new UCA’s.

Glad you posted though, thanks. I'll adjust my plan.Sadly, yes it does.
So. I have the 5160's with 1.5" sway-a-way rear coils, 6112's, moog top plates, moog sway bar end links for the front, one rear (due to moogs part numbers being dumb) and all moog ball bearings for the front. I also have new brembo rotors and pads, anti seize for those and blue thread locker for bolts.I think I have everything. Tomorrow I dig in. I have a couple questions:
Does anyone know or have a torque spec sheet for all bolts I'm going to be redoing? Every things just says OEM, like I know that. [emoji19]
To confirm my research, a 1.5" Rear lift requires a 2.0" (or slightly higher) front to level. Correct? Will that have any issues if I do some towing in the future?
Lastly, any last minute advice?
Thanks so much guys.![]()

I have a V6. I was running 5100's in the rear with FJ springs. I initially set my 6112's at the 3/5 setting (I think) but it was not high enough. I now have them at the highest setting (4/6?) and they're perfect. (I have since replaced the 5100's with Icon 2.0 w reservoirs which made zero difference in height but a better ride in the back.)

Agreed, after reading the last few posts I was pretty sure i was moving from 4/2 to 5/3.I think youd do well using the 5 driver 3 pass c-clip positions for 2.5"s of front lift if your thinking 1.5" in back...
