Bilstein and spring ideas

New to the forum here, I've searched through many threads and read through the lifted thread start to finish and got many great ideas as well as got to see all the cool 4runners here.
I have a 2010 sr5 that I am set on leveling with bilsteins on all four corners (whether that is at .85 or 1.5 im not sure but think I like the look of .85 better)

I also am interested in springs to improve the daily ride ( this is a pavement only dd for now) to get more solid handling and eliminate nose dive. Ultimately I would like to get some feedback on the following options:

Just go with the bilsteins and use OEM springs
Go with the billies set at 1.5, and find rear springs that as about an inch to keep it level
Go with billies and 4springs such as an ome setup.

I'm not looking to go larger with tires and wheels so I'm not looking to lift up much more then the billies.

Springwise I dont think they make anything that lifts only 1" in the rear. To do that you would need spacers. I would say if you want to lift with either .85 or 1.75 setting, to do stock springs, and rear spacers depending on which setting the front gets.

5100s set at 0.85 will look close to level and reduce the nose dive. If you set them to 1.75 it will be a better level but may go tail low with a load. For a slight lift, a bit less nose dive and a little firmer ride 1.75 with 1 inch spacers in the rear.

I went with 0.85 and like the look - it's 1 inch higher in the rear. No spacers.

5100s on all four makes it firmer on-road and helps the off- road a lot for a feeling of better control.

^^^^^^ Agreed. Just max out that Visa and do it right the first time. Techincally speaking it's the banks' money...if it makes you feel better. Springs + Shocks. I wish I woulda bought springs. Maybe santa will bring me 885's and 889's.

Is the Daystar 1.5 spacer in the rear paired with 2.5 bilsteins up front a bad idea? Let's assume I go with bilsteins all around.

Thanks for the input everyone, really appreciate how helpful this board is. I'm thinking the bilsteins all around with the front at 1.75 and a 1" rear spacer is what I may go with.
My vision was finding a set of springs like fjs or something just firm enough to give a more solid ride and maybe add an inch all around, which in addition to the billies at .85 would be my ideal setup. And it seems like springs would be a better performance over the spacer.
Anyone know of something to fit that bill?

People seem to have different results, or perhaps different expectations, with respect to setting the front Bilsteins. My 2011 is set at 1.75 in the front and looks and feels level to me with no spacers and stock springs. My sig pic is recent for reference and I have posted other pics on this site too.

As far as the ride goes, to me just making the shock change was night and day, especially with the nose dive - it's gone. Unless you really want to stiffen the ride up, I wouldn't change the springs. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised in the difference just the shocks make.

I have the same year and have been wondering about this for some time. Here is what I did, purchased 5100 for the front and the 620 Eibachs from Toytec. Set with no lift it is pretty much bang on level with the rear seeing the front springs had some sag.
If you are going to do the work put the springs in as well you will be surprised with the huge difference it will make. It will ride a little stiffer, but better performance.

As for the rear, I have 5100 being delivered tomorrow and I and going to put the Superflex coil springs in to bring back the original rake, it will also help when I am towing a trailer seeing the original springs are pretty weak.
