Bilsteins at 0.85 with 275's & SCS Wheels

I posted this question in the Bilstein @ 0.85 thread, but I think it might be getting overlooked, so I figured I should start a new thread.

Is anyone that has the 5100's set at 0.85 also running SCS wheels with 275's? This is the setup I'm looking at going with but the -10 offset of the Ray10's has me concerned that there may be some rubbing.

I'm not running Bilsteins at .85" (I'm at 2.5") but I do have SCS Stealth6's with 275's and I had to remove my mudflaps and push the fender liners back and trim some of the bumper to deal with rubbing in reverse at full-lock.

You had to do all that before, or after the lift?

the lift doesnt matter you can run 275s on a stock suspension. problem is the SCS wheel push the tire further out changing the contact area inside the wheelwell. I have 2.5" with 275s and zero bub (stock wheels)

I'm with you there, as I'm currently running 275's with stock wheels and stock suspension. I just figured the contact area inside the wheelwell would be changed by the lift.

I'm starting to think I may want to look for other options than SCS. I love the Ray10's, but I definitely don't want the hassle of dealing with a rubbing issue. Perhaps a 17x8.5 with zero offset would be better?

You had to do all that before, or after the lift?

I did the tires and lift at the same time, but I would have had to do it with or without the lift. Like [MENTION=139682]Simpleman74[/MENTION] said it's the because of the wheels.

Don't be afraid to trim, you don't notice it unless you know what you're looking for and you're under the truck. The stance the SCS wheels give you are worth it IMO.
